Still good.
I run two in my midrange Paladin deck, and I'm convinced that this is a tier 1 card. I think most people ran this card with dragons and/or only run one of them, and I think this is why it doesn't get as much consistent play. It basically cuts the fat out of your paladin deck...I don't think I'd ever NOT run this card anymore. Just too good
FYI: Run two equalities with two Vigils...the synergy here is obvious but can't be overstated how powerful it is.
So you haven't been able to get the same results with Divine Favor?
Card draw is always good, playing this for 1 (which is not uncommon) is totally nuts, especially in arena.
Not sure if it is better than Cult Master. If you can't destroy the board or not a large board it is a Arcane Intellect: Not bad, but Slow.
While Cult Master gives you most of the time at least a 4/2 for 4 and a lot of cards.
I think the comparison is asymetrical, as you would use the card at different times. The main advantage of this over cult master is you can play this after a board clear such as consecrate, and often not lose any more tempo than you normally would using a board clear.
Paladin was never really in need for cards, also this says that you at least have 5-6 mana. Consecrate against aggro can clean up to 5 minions on turn 4, but if the enemy only has 4 minions you cannot wait until turn 5 to destroy their board since they will wipefest you. Cultist is always a body: not the best, but also not the worst, most of the time you can clean the board already with your recruits and weapon from muster, so
Also it draws only 2 cards: with Cultist most of the time i draw 3 or more. Yes it have different purposes and if you are lucky and clean the board with wild pyromancer + equality, then you mostly can play it very early; but pyromancer isn't good since paladin got muster.
Personally i don't see any real use of it: It isn't a bad card and you can run it without losing too much power; heck sometimes you also like to draw cards for 5 mana if necessary, but I personally think that there are better card draws than this. Alcolyte of Pain seems also better; even through we don't have the abilities warrios have.
Where it might be good is maybe in the future in an aggro-deck, where you often need to drade half your board into something else. But even there Cult Master seems better, althrough she might often be not playable, while this can cost up to 0 mana.
I think this card really helps Control Paladin with the Wild Pyromancer into Equality
Very few drawing options are introduced in BRM, so this one is so valuable. My best hope is to replace Lay On Hand with this card for Paladin's drawing. If you have a weapon equipped, it's not hard to kill 2 enemy minions in one turn with or without minion trading.
Trade one minion for another minion -> now this is Arcane Intellect. Any more than that and it's great value. Plus any kind of boardclear is gonna make this cheap AF. Definitely not a flashy card but solid.
that's because this is a paladin only class card???
Technically I guess any class can have access to this with good rng and Nefarian but still.
I'm gonna try this in Shockadin
You mean Deathadin Sir?
Deathadin?
No, shockadin:
I really like this card I am really lacking on draw mechanic on my paladin since I lack Lay on Hands and this card just goes well.
Obtainable & easily casted.
"Justice demands retribution"
I love these 'for every minion that died this turn.' Blizzard buffing control.
Br-bro-Brother!?
Seriously though, I think this card is a little overrated. It needs at least 2 deaths to equate Arcane Intellect's manacoet and even then many mage decks din't run it because it's too slow.
